It’s very sad that Mitt has this opportunity to share this information with people who will actually listen to him, and he’s choosing not to because of political pressure.

Well, there you have it. From Gallup:
“Eighty-two percent of U.S. Catholics say birth control is morally acceptable, nearing the 89% of all Americans and 90% of non-Catholics who agree. The level of acceptability on this issue is far greater than that of the other 17 issues Gallup asked about this year.”
On moral issues surveyed by Gallup, it’s the most acceptable. Of Republicans, 87% give birth control the a-OK, along with 89% of Independents, 90% of Democrats, and even 82% of Catholics. Basically, this is an issue 82%-90% of Americans agree on, yet the Catholic bishops, with their GOP backup dancers, are trying to convince us 100% of Americans are JUST OUTRAGED.
On a side note, taxpayers DID pay for my birth control once upon a time. It was when I was in the U.S. military on active duty. So thanks for the birth control, folks. I’m stoked to still be childless.
